Description:Fabulous US Marine Corps Quartermaster's Coat. Stamped 5-S 1942-43. This is the only marking I could find. Eagle buttons, green what feels like wool. Some condition issues as noted below.
Size:Marked size ? ChatGPT thought this should be a 44 Short. Vintage sizes can vary so review all photos of measurements in this listing to ensure proper fit. ALSO, perhaps it was "taken in" in the waist, as shown from the interior and exterior.
Condition: Fair to good vintage. I tried to look it over carefully and found the following issues:- missing belt, missing some interior buttons (the ones that are used when buttoning it up and making it double breasted)- several little "moth holes" - 1 on interior flap, 2 on left sleeve top, 1 underneath collar, several on the center back seam at the bottom by the kick flap, 3 at the top near center seam and right shoulder. ALL PICTURED. Purchase accordingly.*PHOTOS: Please review all photos carefully and ask any questions you may have before offerding, buying or making an offer.*CONDITION: Unless otherwise noted, my items come from estate sales and resale stores and are in AS FOUND condition.* SHIPPING: I do my absolute best to ship orders the same or next business day.
