Vintage WWII U.S. M1 Front Seam Fixed Bale Combat Helmet w/ Hawley Liner For Sale

Vintage WWII U.S. M1 Front Seam Fixed Bale Combat Helmet with Hawley Liner. Helmet of McCord manufacture with a heat stamp of what appears to be 167 -- May 1942 to June 1942. Staff Sergeant insignia painted to helmet front where the rough texture has been smoothed. Intact, correct chinstrap. Hawley Liner has cracked to the right rear, the cracked section remaining attached to the liner and likely repairable. Liner has original chinstrap - separated at one end - with full webbing and what appears to be an Army Serial Number inked to the interior dome. I researched this and printed enlistment information for this soldier which I will include. Liner painting mostly intact. A very good vintage example! Thank you!
