Washington, D.C. with the motto "Who Fears?" belonged to a member or unit of the 301st Air Refueling Wing (historically constituted as the 301st Bombardment Group during World War II).Maker Details - A.H. Dondero, Inc.: A well-known Washington, D.C. manufacturer and military accoutrement supplier active during the mid-20th century and World War II, specializing in insignia, crests, and rank pins.
- Sterling Silver: Marked on the reverse to denote solid silver composition, standard for quality officer-grade or sweetheart military insignia of the 1940s.
Unit Details - Motto: "Who Fears?" was officially approved for the 301st Bombardment Group (Heavy) on August 11, 1942.
