This collectible piece captures the essence of the beloved dog breed with its intricate details and nostalgic design. It was originally cast in 1949. It is signed on the back with the Vm forge mark, the title “Dream Boy”, copyright 1949, design # 18-7 and contains the “Betty Lamp” logo which is a stylized colonial style oil lamp silhouette inside a shield.
The door stop measures 9” tall and 7” wide at the base. These are extremely hard to find in such pristine condition. He was stored away carefully for over 77 years. This is an exceptional find. If you have been looking for one don’t pass this up!
