Vintage Very Early Stanley No. 45 Combination Plane Cutters Blades Box 1884 PAT
Offered is a very early set of original Stanley No. 45 combination. Plane cutters/blades. They are pre-notch - before they made them with the notch in the top of the blades. Complete set. Also has the two spurs included as well. Still has original paper label on the front of the box which is in surprisingly good condition for its age. None of these have been cleaned, they are exactly as I found them. They do have some mild / light surface rust but no major rust or deep pitting - they're in great shape for their age. A few of them (the specialty two) are marked with an 1884 patent date. Overall a very nice example. It will make a great addition to someone's collection.
