This Vintage Vernon Kilns collector plate features the historic Foley's Department Store in Houston, Texas as “Tops in Texas”. Made of ceramic in a cream color, this round plate with a diameter of 10.5 inches is a decorative plate commemorating the opening of the Foleys Department Store in Houston in 1947. Foleys was Houston based and bought the Dallas based Sanger Harris in the 1980s. In 2006, Macys acquired all Foleys stores.
