Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage mid-century modern accent table lamp manufactured by the historic Vermont Marble Company under their sought-after "Vermarco" trademark. This piece is from their premium "Treasures in Marble" gift line, likely dating from the 1950s to the 1960s.
Material & Construction:The lamp features a sleek, geometric tapered square design meticulously constructed from four mitered panels of natural, heavily figured pink brecciated marble. The stone possesses incredible natural translucent properties. When unlit, it showcases a gorgeous salmon-pink hue with white brecciated inclusions and dark veining. When illuminated, the translucent 0.5-inch thick stone glows with a stunning, high-contrast warmth reminiscent of molten magma or fire.
