They started the company in Pertunmaa, Finland, after the Riihimäki glass factory stopped producing mouth-blown glass in 1976 and closed: around 1999.
Studiolasi specialized in hand‑blown art glasses. Their works combine traditional glassmaking techniques with modern design sensibilities, producing unique decorative and functional pieces. Each item is individually crafted, making every piece slightly different — a reflection of true artisan quality.
