Vintage Valentine Lot. Rosen Lollipop Cards. Uncut, Unmarked.
Please Note: Five Unused. One may have been used. Six cardstotal.
These vintage Rosen valentines were designed to hold alollipop/sucker, but five of them look to be unused. One of them has somebending/tearing (see closeup in last picture of card with little girl and “tickled pink”) but none havewriting.
The top three feature the same design (Hi Pardner card),with one of them (the one on the left) showing a bit of fading near the bottomof the heart and the Rosen name, and just to the left of the words rootin’ tootin’.
All darkened some from age, with some wear to the edges andto the cards overall, but still so cute.
I can’t find an exact date, but from what I’ve seen of similarlollipop cards they’re probably from the 1950s. They’re marked E. Rosen Company,Providence R.I.
Listing does not include lollipops or envelopes (I don\'t think theycame with envelopes originally).
