Vintage USA Made Aladdin Stanley Thermos Green Pint A-943C New Original Box For Sale

VINTAGE ALADDINS STANLEY 1 PINT THERMOS - MODEL #A-943C. NEW IN BOX FROM 1980’s WITH ORIGINAL PRICE TAG FROM HARDWARE STORE IN CONNECTICUT WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED BY FORMER OWNER IN 1988!!!Very cool piece of Stanley/Aladdin Thermos history!! Purchased from the Fairfield County estate of a retired architect who worked in Manhattan for a large firm from 1960’s-2001 and per his wife ALWAYS carried his Thermos with strong coffee from home to drink on the train on his way to work. This Thermos was purchased by former owner at Rings End Hardware in Darien, CT in 1988 and still has its original price tag for $25.95 ($71.20 in today 2026 dollars!). His wife said he purchased just before Christmas in 1988 and it was put into their storage pantry that day and was never opened and used! It has sat in that pantry for the last 38 years until we purchased!!Thermos is in overall good condition and as stated above, has NEVER been used! It doesn’t have any residue or smells inside and the chrome is shiny and brite!! The only noted condition issue with Thermos is that there is several spots of very light superficial rusting. I have NOT attempted to remove/clean these spots and will leave in hands of new owner to determine what to do. All I have done is wiped down the exterior of the box and the thermos with damp microfiber cloth to remove dust for photos. I have included all photos of said surface rusting in this listing, if you have more questions or seek additional photos please message me!!Piece sells AS IS / AS FOUND!! I do not offer Refunds or Returns on Used, Antique and Vintage Items!! Please thoroughly review the entire description of item and also all entire photos prior to committing purchase. If you would like additional photos or have any questions, please message me and I will gladly respond to the best of my ability and send any photos requested!DIMENSIONS:
• Thermos with Cap/Cup in Place: just under 12.0” Tall - Without chrome cap: 10.5” Tall x just over 3.25” Wide at base x 2.0” Wide at Cap• Box: 12.0” x 3.5” x 4.0”CONDITION ISSUES/CONCERNS: • Thermos: Several noted areas of superficial surface rusting with corresponding paint loss. All gaskets appear to be in good working order free of damage/dry rot and seem to make a good seated seal. Chrome is bright and shiny but does have some very light and superficial “scaling” as most chrome gets with age. This very likely could be removed by new owner with some elbow grease and appropriate cleaning products! I would say overall condition is very good being as the thermos has been stored in a pantry on bottom shelf for last nearly 40 years since being purchased!• Box: the Box has a 1” long indented puncture type damage noted on front of box just below the Stanley/Aladdin Thermos logo. The box also has a tear at top beside the original hardware store price tag and another tear at seam on opposite side of price tag. All seams of box show extensive wear patterns and have tearing and deterioration but box does still safely hold the Thermos as it should! I would rate the overall condition of the box to be FAIR based on age and where/how it’s been stored for last nearly 40yrs!Thanks for looking and please check out my other listings for more amazing Antique and Vintage Treasures!
