Vintage U.S. Navy Lieutenant O-3 double-bar rank insignia in sterling silver.
The reverse is clearly marked STERLING and bears an H-H style maker’s hallmark, associated with Hilborn-Hamburger, a well-known manufacturer of U.S. military insignia.
This piece came from the personal collection of a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the WWII/Korean War era.
