Up for sale is a rare piece of cold-war naval history: an authentic US Navy CCSF-66132-A Blade Antenna Assembly, specifically designated "FOR COUNTERMEASURES USE" on the original factory data plate.
This heavy-duty aerodynamic wedge antenna was manufactured for the Navy Department Bureau of Ships by the renowned defense contractor R.A. Miller Industries, Inc. out of Grand Haven, Michigan. It features a robust metal skin-mount design with an integrated RF coaxial feed connector at the base (protected by a vintage red protective cap).
Cosmetic Condition:The black aluminum identification plate is in phenomenal condition, remaining perfectly legible with crisp silver text and its stamped Serial Number. The main body retains its original military-gray paint, showing authentic service wear, light scuffs, minor paint flaking, and light surface rust along the bottom edge plate as shown in the images.
Technical Condition:This antenna assembly is being sold AS-IS, UNTESTED, and as a historical military collectible. We do not have the specialized RF testing gear to measure its specific frequency range or impedance.
A magnificent display item for collectors of radar, electronic warfare, naval artifacts, or aviation hardware. Please review all high-resolution photos to verify the exact cosmetic details.
