Vintage collection of eight U.S. Army armored-style embroidered patches featuring the recognizable yellow, blue and red triangle with cannon, tank tread and lightning bolt. An appealing group for military insignia collectors or a military history display.
Includes five numbered Armored Division patches—9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th—plus an IV-marked patch, a 7 CAV-marked patch and one unnumbered armored patch.
The patches vary in embroidery and construction. Exact manufacture dates are unknown; the group is not represented as uniformly WWII-produced.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with strong colors and some edge wear and loose threads. Backs retain orange paper and adhesive residue from previous mounting, substantial on several patches. Please examine the front and reverse photographs for individual condition.
You will receive all eight patches pictured, sold together as one lot.
