The Vintage Tim Allen Signature RRR Hart Home Improvement Carpenters Claw Hammer is a unique collectible piece originating from the United States. With the signature of Tim Allen and the RRR Hart brand, this vintage claw hammer is not only a functional tool for woodworking and carpentry but also a sought-after collectible for enthusiasts of vintage tools and hardware. Made in the USA, this hammer embodies quality craftsmanship and historical significance in the world of home improvement and woodworking. Really a BEAUTIFUL Hammer! This one has never hit a nail or been used in any way or even carried. Never even went to a work site at all.
In an interview on Mike Rowe's podcast, Tim describes the care and consideration that went into the design of his signature model hammer when it was on the drawing board. Sure, some of the design characteristics were geared more toward the marketing side of its development but the main body of thought and planning was clearly aimed at creating the best carpenter's hammer ever devised by modern man. No expense was spared and every possible nuance was kicked around with that goal in mind. Tim and his backers at Sears were truly bent on producing an end product capable of generating a cult following and legendary status worthy of recognition as "The Best Damn Hammer" ever made. Production difficulty, material cost, and marketing practicalities had to take a back seat to the goal at hand and in the end, the RRR Tim Allen Signature Clawhammer, whose production was given over to Hart Tools, was born. Like many of the famous tools that came before it and took their rightful place in the tool innovation history books, it came with a price tag. Since its development, it has earned a growing reputation as "The One the Pros Use" and the one no self-respecting Journeyman would be without. To really appreciate what was created, you have to have experienced the fatigue factor. You have to know what it feels like to spend a whole shift with one leg wrapped around a ladder while swinging a hammer at 16d nails and to then be expected to meet the boys at the local pub with enough left in you to tip a few rounds of barley pop. Think about it. The dang thing has an Axe handle for goodness sake. Maybe its time you hang one from your belt!
