Gorgeous highly detailed pewter tea caddy from Tumasek Pewter, Malaysia, in the shape of a lidded barrel featuring a coy fish handle, the highly realistic design of leaves wrapping the jar with a string knotted around top, swirling water around the jumping coy fish, with Fu Lu Shou characters in cartouches on either side, a blessing of prosperity/ status/ long life, all in high relief, painstakingly detailed. Wonderful shape and look, eye-catching from every angle. This caddy has double air-tight lids to retain the tea leaves' aroma, the inside lid fitting snugly like a vacuum, all pristine and clean, unused, new. Excellent condition, nice, substantial weight. Ever so slight scuff mark from handling - see lid shots - one scratch very light and tiny compressions or nicks so slight on upper edge of lid, shiny flawless interior and inside lid. Measures overall 5 ½ in. high by 3 ¼ in. wide at widest point. These tea caddies are worth hundreds of dollars and are highly collectible.
