Included in the lot:

• Original 1918 Map of the City of Syracuse, New York– published by Sampson & Murdock Co., Syracuse, NY. Large fold-out color street map with indexed streets, parks, hotels, and places of interest. Original cover is marked “1918” and shows the original 25¢ price. The map includes detailed streets, neighborhoods, parks, cemeteries, Syracuse University, rail lines, and other period landmarks.
• Syracuse, NY c.1898 Historical Map– separate printed historical/topographical map showing Syracuse and the surrounding area as it appeared circa 1898. Features detailed streets, rail lines, terrain/topography, Onondaga Lake, Syracuse University, and surrounding communities.
• Vintage Syracuse University Campus Map / Visitor Guide– fold-out guide with a detailed campus map, building index, visitor information, historical information, photographs, and Syracuse University branding.
• 3 Syracuse University Postcards

The1918 Syracuse city map is the oldest original map in the lotand shows substantial age and use, including folds, creasing, edge wear, discoloration, handwritten markings, tape repairs, and general handling wear. It remains an interesting historical Syracuse piece and unfolds into a large detailed city map.

The c.1898 map, campus guide, postcards, and card set show varying degrees of age and handling wear. One of the older postcards has been written on, addressed, stamped, and postmarked.
