Vintage Swiss platform escapement for a carriage, mantel or travelling clock.
The brass platform measures approximately 23.5 × 40 mm, as noted on the original storage box. It features a balance wheel, hairspring, jewelled bearings and a long operating lever. The regulator is marked S/F for Slow/Fast. The number “44” appears in several places and is probably an assembly or matching number.
No identifiable manufacturer’s signature is visible.
The escapement shows age-related marks, tarnishing, scratches and general wear. Its working condition has not been tested, so it is offered as an unrestored spare part for repair, restoration or a specialist horological collection.
