This vintage Strommen Bruk Hamar accordion sewing box is a beautiful and highly collectible example of mid century modern Scandinavian design.

When fully extended with both lids open, the sewing box measures approximately 65 inches wide.
Fully extended with both lids closed, it measures approximately 49 inches wide.
When both sides are pushed in and not extended, it measures approximately 20 inches wide.
Height with the handle is approximately 16 inches.
Height without the handle is approximately 23 inches.
Depth measures approximately 10 1/4 inches.
Condition
The sewing box is in good pre owned condition. The box look like something heavy was placed on one side and bent the lid. The crack is visible from the under side. The integrity of the lid is solid. One leg is slightly bent in.
