Authentic vintage Steinbach Volkskunst wooden drummer soldier nutcracker, handcrafted in Germany.This impressive approximately 15-inch figure wears a bright red military-style uniform with gold-colored collar trim, yellow fringed epaulettes and black boots. He carries a detailed blue and natural-wood drum with red cord lacing, yellow accents and a pair of dark wooden drumsticks. His black brimmed hat is decorated with a natural wood band, pinecone-style ornament and feather.The underside has its original round Steinbach Volkskunst label identifying Hohenhameln and “Made in Germany.” The nutcracker weighs approximately 2 pounds.The traditional rear lever moves the jaw, and the arms are movable at the shoulders.
