As nice as they get, has been professional restored, tuned, sharpened and tested (not repainted).Has original rosewood tall knob and handle/tote (you can see the remnants Stanley label on rear tote).NO CRACKS or repairs - pictures shown no surprises!!!Original full sweetheart era blade, chip breaker and cap lever - correct for the period.Japanned finish is very nice like 99%. Great throat not opened or chipped, nice bottom.Top Shelf plane with no apologies.

Well, it is clean and ready for work and there are no cracks...no surprises.I have seen heavy rusted, crusted No. 10's go on to find out they are cracked, welded or warped.Shipping issue - not here - not my first plane to ship - "it will survive the ride", plus I will pay for insurance!
