Vintage Soviet Russia Siberia Irkutsk medals souvenir from 1986 For Sale

Vintage Soviet Russian Irkutsk medals souvenir. Six copper/brass high-relief medallions produced in 1986 for the 300th anniversary (1686-1986) of Irkutsk, Siberia. A nice example of medal working 40 years ago.
The topics of each medal are:
1) Дом Музей Декабристов (Decembrists House Museum) - where many distinguished Russians were sent into exile for their part in the Decembrist revolt of 18252) Дворец Культуры Профсоюзов (Palace of Culture of Trade Unions)3) Русско-Азиатский Банк (Russian-Asian Bank)4) Белый Дом (The White House) - an Empire-style mansion(5) Спасская Церковь (Spasskaya Church)(6) Охлопковский драматический театр (Okhlopkov Drama Theater) - one of Russia\'s oldest theaters.
The identical front (obverse) of each medal appears to be a schematic of the historic center of Irkutsk. This center is included in UNESCO\'s list of World Heritage Sites.
Markings include \"В Честь 300 Летия Статуса Города Иркутска\" (In Honor of the 300th Anniversary of the Status of the City of Irkutsk) and the dates 1686-1986. Other markings include what appear to be the marks of the maker. In a plastic souvenir case prepared especially for the medals. These were probably sold in the Beriozka \"dollar\" shops. The plastic has some scuffs, and some of the medals have some mild tarnishing. Overall very good condition. Each medal is 1¾\" in diameter, and they are somewhat thick. Case is 8¼\" x 4\".
Irkutsk experienced bitter fighting during the Russian Civil War of 1918–20. In the Soviet period, the city\'s architecture became dominated by the squared-up style called Soviet Constructivism.
