Enjoy this set of four vintage (late 1960s-1970s) Snap-on roll organizers featuring the classic dark burgundy vinyl exterior and the highly desirable vintage dark brown/burgundy flocked felt lining.
Snap-on tool organizer bags used to roll up and hold tools in the toolbox that belonged to my grandfather.
He stored the tools in his red metal Snap-on tool boxes, without using these organizers which sat nearby. There are no indentations of where tools were stored in the rolls. The stitching is strong but there is some wear on some edges and some brittleness.Included are:
C-91A -Nine (9) slot configuration with pockets that range from 3" to 8" deep and 1-1/2" to 4" wide. Designed for Snap-on's heavy-duty Striking Wrenches (also known as Slugging or Hammer Wrenches) or their massive, thick-beam Service Wrenches.
C138B - Twenty-four (24) slot configuration is built for a massive, comprehensive Combination Wrench Set that merges both Fractional (SAE) and Metric sizes into a single, master rolling kit.
C-83A - Eight (8) slot configuration is special! It holds not only the Standard SAE Wrench Collection but the Bonus 11/32" Wrench Inclusion!
C-74- Seven (7) slot collection for a classic 7-piece standard Box-End Wrench Set.
The organizers are fully original but have become a bit brittle due to age. See photos carefully. One could put tools in the organizer but if they were rolled up, I think it would cause some cracks along the edges. Better to use as display, for collection restoration, or flat toolbox drawer layout.
