Vintage Simonds 9 ppi 26" Cross-Cut Hand Saw, No. 72 "Blue Ribbon" For Sale

For sale is a Simonds 9ppi 26" No. 72 "Blue Ribbon" Cross-Cut Hand Saw, 1910-1922. This is a narrow, or "ship point" saw (not a worn saw) due to the fact that the etch and the 9 PPI marking are both well above the tooth line. Simonds saws are of the same quality as Disston. The blade has a dark patina with only some minor surface rust, it should clean up nicely. The teeth are in good shape and relatively sharp. The apple wood handle is in great shape with a beautiful wheat carving. Overall a nice saw ready to be put back to work.
