Vintage Signed Moser Alexandrit Amethyst Crystal 3pc Vanity Set Art Deco Bottle For Sale

Three-piece vanity set by Moser (signed). Made in Czechoslovakia, two stoppered bottles and a covered powder/dresser jar. Hand-finished crystal in a graduated lavender-purple colorway consistent with Moser Alexandrit or amethyst, vertically cut and faceted bodies and clear multifaceted stoppers. Acid-etched Moser signature; the jar is additionally acid etched “Made in Czechoslovakia.” These likely date to 1929-1938, though we have not catalogued.

Tall bottle approx 7.5" tall / 2.5" at base. Mid approx 6.5" and 2.25", and jar 4.5" tall, about 3.5" wide at the base. Measurements include the corresponding stoppers and lid. This is a rare set and it became a highly copied design by other manufacturers in Europe. This set is authentic Moser.

• Good vintage condition overall, and the set presents very well.
• No cracks or major chips to the bottles, jar, lid, or stoppers.
• The bottle rims retain good profiles, with extremely fine fleabites under close inspection.
• The clear faceted stoppers show light surface wear, scattered tiny fleabites, and very slight blunting at the pointed tips.
• The covered jar has a scratch on one side, shown in the photographs, along with use scratching from the underside of the jar showing through.
• The bases show noticeable shelf wear and scratching. Acid-etched signatures remain present and legible.
• One bottle contains a scattering of tiny internal spots, possibly original glassmaking irregularities or older residue, no conservation performed, doesn't appear to be etched/burnt. The bottles do have a some very small bubbles, typical for the era produced.
• Gently washed only. No chemicals, polishing or other reconditioning performed.
