Vintage hand-painted toleware serving tray by Nashco Products, New York, signed by artist Anatole. Octagonal form measuring 20" long x 15" wide, with a gold pierced-lattice gallery rim and cutout side handles.
Black lacquered ground features a hand-painted floral bouquet — full pink and mauve roses with white/blue accent blossoms and green foliage, signed "Anatole" lower right. Underside retains the original Nashco Products foil label reading "Hand-Painted, Chip and Alcohol Resistant, New York."
The larger 20" size and reticulated gallery work set this apart from the smaller flat-rim trays typically seen from this maker — a nicer casting with real display presence, elevated further by the identifiable artist signature.
Thanks and have a great day!
