Pre-owned vintage condition. The vase displays extensive intentional crackle/crazing throughout the celadon glaze, which is part of the decorative finish and character of the piece. Description:

Beautiful vintage signed celadon art pottery vase featuring a pale jade/seafoam-green glaze, extensive crackle finish, and graceful flying crane decoration.

This unusual vase has a traditional Meiping-inspired form, with a rounded upper body tapering inward toward the lower portion and ending in a narrow foot. The short neck is finished with a thick, gently flared rounded rim.

The body is decorated with delicate cranes in flight, stylized cloud/floral elements, and finely executed white decorative bands around the shoulder and base. The pale blue-green celadon glaze has an attractive high-gloss surface over a pronounced network of crackling that gives the vase considerable depth and texture.

The underside bears a two-character handwritten artist/workshop mark that appears to read 花泉 (Kasen). The exact artist or kiln attribution has not been independently authenticated, so the vase is being sold as signed vintage Asian celadon art pottery rather than attributed to a specific documented master potter.

The glaze, crane imagery, decorative technique, and form are reminiscent of traditional Korean Goryeo-style celadon and later celadon revival pottery.
