Vintage Sheaffer Standard Balance 5-30 Fountain Pen, w/ 14k gold nib, restored For Sale

For sale is a vintage standard sized Sheaffer Balance fountain pen made in jade green celluloid. It has a 14k gold 5-30 nib with a fine writing point. Vintage line widths are subjective. The condition of the pen is overall good with a minimal if any micro-scratches present from use. No cracks, or personalizations on the cap or barrel and the trim is clean with a crisp and clearly visible maker imprint. Note however three burn or other serious style of deep marks to the celluloid, one on the barrel and two on the cap above the clip. Although the celluloid has good color, the flaws render it a "user grade" pen.
This fountain pen uses a lever filling mechanism and has been completelyrestored as a writing instrument. Restored pens are ink tested with Waterman ink and then flushed prior to shipping. Some watered down ink may be present in the pen on delivery. All my pens are shipped bubble wrapped in a cardboard box for safe and secure delivery.
