Vintage Sheaffer Balance Lifetime Fountain Pen, grey w/ 14k gold nib, restored For Sale

For sale is a vintage Sheaffer Balance lifetime fountain pen in grey striped celluloid made in Fort Madison, IA, USA. The bi-tone 14k gold Lifetime nib on the pen appears to be a fine writing point. Though vintage line widths are subjective. The condition of the pen is very good with typical micro-scratches and trim wear present. Not significant, but worth noting. The barrel imprint is still visible, and the 875 price code means the barrel matches the expected conical lifetime nib and white dot cap. The is the long, slender variant of the Balance from the 1930s.
This fountain pen uses a lever filling mechanism and has been completelyrestored as a writing instrument. Restored pens are ink tested with Waterman ink and then flushed prior to shipping. Some watered down ink may be present in the pen on delivery. All my pens are shipped bubble wrapped in a cardboard box for safe and secure delivery.
