These are Shenango China plates custom-made for The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, featuring that classic brown ornate border with floral details, baskets/urns, and the hotel\'s signature eagle crest logo plus \"The Roosevelt New Orleans\" lettering. Heavy-duty vitreous china built to last through busy hotel service days. All show the standard Shenango marks (including “SHENANGO CHINA U.S.A.\" and the Shenango logo—classic mid-century restaurant ware).
Each measures 7 5/8\" in diameter—perfect salad, dessert, or luncheon plate size, great for everyday use, hosting, or displaying your NOLA pride.
Condition is excellent and appears unused or nearly unused across the board: no chips, no cracks, no crazing, almost no utensil marks or staining that I can spot. Glaze is shiny and fresh, interiors clean, edges crisp—really impressive for vintage hotel pieces like these.
