Two original vintage roadside attraction advertising signs printed on heavy paperboard. One advertises Sea Lion Caves, U.S. 101 Oregon Coast — Elevator, and the other advertises Trees of Mystery, Shrine of the Redwood Highway in Northern California. Each measures approximately 21 to 22 inches long by 5½ inches high. These were likely made for display in travel-related businesses or along tourist routes rather than as ordinary bumper stickers.
Both signs show age and use, including toning, surface wear, creases, edge and corner wear, small tears, punctures and mounting holes. The Trees of Mystery sign has four large mounting holes with cracking between two of the holes and a pronounced central crease. The Sea Lion Caves sign has creasing, scuffs and areas of surface loss or old adhesive residue. Backs are blank. Please examine all photographs closely for condition.
