Vintage Schwinn Sunset Orange Krate Stingray Banana Seat Muscle Bike Combo Lock For Sale

A mint Schwinn Krate Sunset Orange Combination Lock. This lock is Schwinn Approved part number 06 697. The lock is the 1970's Made in Japan version of these combo locks with the raised knurled edge in the combination tumbler. The lock is stamped Schwinn on one end of the tumblers and Japan on the other end. It is listed as a used item but I believe the lock is NOS. The lock is still wrapped like it would have been when in the original long lock packages with the square header card. The lock cover is nice and still pretty soft and and includes the original plastic sleeve, combination card, and checkerboard combination tag from the original package. I do not have the original header card for the lock. Also, the tumblers are stuck on the lock and will need a little WD40 to free them up. The plastic cover on the lock is the burnt red-ish orange color that Sunset Orange looks on the original grips. This is one of the harder to find colors for these locks. Perfect for a mint original bike or for your best restoration. Please email with questions.
