This listing is for one vintage ashtray made for the former Salt Creek Freightways.
Salt Creek Freightways was a historic trucking and motor freight company with deep roots in Wyoming. First registered in Casper, Wyoming, in 1920, the company served as a crucial transportation link for regional commerce in the American West. Over the decades, they expanded operations and famously utilized a large industrial railroad warehouse in Cheyenne, Wyoming, sharing the space beginning in 1936 before transitioning to primary use of the building in 1963. Operating a fleet of distinctively branded trucks, Salt Creek Freightways eventually faced financial challenges and entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in the 1980s, bringing an end to a long era of motor freight history.
Good condition. No chips or cracks. No scuffing, staining or tar residue. There are a few specks of white missing from the base (see image), with the overwhelming majority intact. Please see the pictures for more information and to help with your decision.
This ashtray measures 4 1/8’’ wide and 1” high.

If purchasing several items, I offer combined shipping and charge only actual shipping costs with no handling fee.
