VINTAGE RUSTIC NATIVITY CRECHE WITH CORK BARK & MOSS STABLE – 13 FIGURES
Beautiful traditional Christmas Nativity display featuring a wonderfully rustic stable constructed with natural-looking wood, cork/bark, moss and other textured materials.
This is a substantial decorative scene with lots of character and detail throughout. The large stable features a dramatic bark-covered roof, dark moss-covered interior, wooden structural pieces, small ladder detail and a tiered area along the right side.
The scene includes 13 painted figures and animals, including:
• Baby Jesus in the manger
• Mary
• Joseph
• Angel
• Shepherd
• Three Wise Men / Magi
• Sheep/lamb
• Donkey and additional stable animals
A nice feature of this Nativity is that SOME OF THE FIGURES ARE NOT PERMANENTLY ATTACHED. These loose pieces can be moved and rearranged to different locations within the Nativity scene, allowing the display to be customized to your preference. Some other pieces are attached to the display.
The colorful painted figures look especially attractive against the natural brown wood, bark and moss setting, creating a classic old-world Christmas appearance.
CONDITION:
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear, dust, natural material loss and surface wear consistent with an older decorative Nativity scene.
Because the stable is constructed with natural bark, moss and other rustic materials, some irregularity, looseness and shedding should be expected and adds to its handmade rustic character.
The figures show normal age-related cosmetic and paint wear in places. Some figures are loose/removable as described above, while others are attached.
