Key Highlights:

• Masterful Artwork: The top lid and side panels feature exquisite hand-painted miniatures depicting a traditional winter Troika scene—three energetic horses pulling a sleigh through the snow under a starry night sky.

• Intricate Border Detailing: The chest is framed with highly detailed, brilliant gold leaf filigree scrollwork and geometric pattern accents over a dark black lacquer base.

• Authentic Signature: The base of the lid painting features authentic handwritten gold Cyrillic text identifying the scene name "Тройка" (Troika), the famous art village of "Палех" (Palekh), and the artist's initials.

• Unique Form Factor: Elevated on stylized footed legs, making it a wonderful standalone display piece or functional trinket chest for fine jewelry.

Overall Condition: Excellent vintage pre-owned condition.

• Exterior: The lacquer finish retains a very nice, brilliant glossy shine. The hand-painted graphics and gold filigree borders are exceptionally crisp, clear, and well-preserved. Minor, normal surface shelf wear or faint handling marks commensurate with age.

• Interior: The dual red lacquer compartments are remarkably clean and vibrant, showing minimal signs of use.

• Hardware: The hinges function smoothly and secure properly.
