Vintage British Royal Navy sailor’s white cap featuring the original HMS AISNE gold-lettered black cap tally. HMS Aisne (D22) was a Battle-class destroyer built during WWII and commissioned in 1947, serving through 1968.
Interior is hand-marked “RO2 W.F. WELLS,” identifying a Radio Operator Second Class. An outstanding piece of British naval history and Cold War military memorabilia, likely dating to the late 1940s or the 1950s–1960s.
