This piece depicts the dramatic, bombastic barrister Sergeant Buzfuz from the novel "The Pickwick Papers." He is sculpted in traditional legal court attire with his mouth wide open as if speaking in mid-trial. The name "Sergt Buzfuz" is embossed cleanly around the lower dark base.
