Vintage Round Nantucket Basket Hand Made 8" Diam. 6" Tall Handle Wooden Bottom For Sale

Here we have a nice, Nantucket Basket, 8 inches in diameter, with swinging handle. It's very pretty, light golden color and in very good shape. There are no holes or loose reeds. It was probably used as a planter holder at one time because there is a water stain on the bottom and wooden disk base inside. The handle is a bit dirty, but it might be cleanable. I bought this and a couple of others that I am listing at a yard sale in the early 90s, so I know that it is at least that old. It's an unsigned piece.
