Vintage Roselane Pottery ashtray from Pasadena, California, featuring a beautiful glossy chartreuse/avocado green glaze and clean Mid-Century Modern styling. The compact 4.5" square form has sculpted cigarette rests and raised linear detailing that gives it a great architectural look.
The underside is impressed Roselane, Pasadena Calif, S1. Roselane Pottery was founded in Pasadena in 1938 and became known for distinctive California art pottery and modern decorative wares. This piece likely dates to circa the 1950s.
Good vintage condition with minimal age-related wear and a few tiny flea bites/glaze losses along the edge as shown. No cracks noted.
