Beautiful vintage Robert Abbey adjustable swing-arm table/desk lamp with an unusual silver-colored finish and a gorgeous naturally aged patina.
This example has a distinctive vintage appearance compared with the more common brass Robert Abbey lamps. The metal has developed beautiful blue, gray, dark and warm-toned patina throughout the base, arm and hardware. The aged finish gives it a lot of character and has been left intact rather than polished away.
The lamp features an adjustable swing arm, detailed traditional metalwork, articulated shade adjustment and a pleated fabric shade. “Robert Abbey” is engraved into the metal socket, adding to its authenticity and vintage character.
