Remember when kitchen gadgets had a little personality? This vintage Rival hand crank slicer and shredder has that wonderful old kitchen look, with a cream colored base, shiny metal hopper and black handles. It is the kind of piece that brings a collected kitchen to life.
You will receive the Rival unit and the seven metal cutting cones shown together in the main photo. The cones have a mix of slicing and shredding patterns; some appear to repeat. A later photo shows one of the cones fitted to the machine. The lever operated suction base is designed to hold the unit on a smooth counter, and the manual crank needs no electricity.
It would make a charming addition to a retro kitchen collection or a useful character piece for interior designers, decorators, home stagers and prop stylists sourcing a period kitchen.
There are scratches, dulling, discoloration and small spots of oxidation from age and use. Please look closely at all four photos, including the hopper and attachment mechanism. Cutting performance and suction grip have not been tested. Only the pieces pictured are included; no box or instructions. Clean thoroughly before any food use. Exact model and measurements have not been confirmed.
