The clock winds extremely well and runs smoothly. It is in vintage used condition.
These were manufactured at the Oryol watch factory in Russia during the early 1990s. In my opinion this was probably one of the most high quality manufacturers of modern, in-house mechanical clock movements.
You get great durability from the simple design and the dense materials used coupled to antique charm and built in resilience. It’s a very old school way of clock manufacturing that most clockmakers abandoned in the 1970s during the race for cheap quartz movements.
