It does light up as it should and the wax does go into a liquid form, however it only moves in the lamp a little and then blobs at the bottom. There is also a small amount at the top of the lamp that won\'t move to the rest of the wax. Might jist be the light bulb or another issue. Red wax with a yellowish clear liquid.
