Gorgeous restored WADE & BUTCHER straight razor. Razor is very nice, but does have residual pitting and spotting mostly on shank and front side of blade. Light to moderate hone wear. I used one piece of tape on spine when honing. See pics for more details.
Blade width measure just under 13/16ths.Razor length is 6 1/2 inches.Grind is approximately a 1/4 hollow.
Front of shank is stamped MANUFACTURED BY - WADE & BUTCHER - SHEFFIELD. Back side is blank. Front side of blade is etched - MEDIUM SIZE HOLLOW GROUND
Scales are brand new custom made SNAKEWOOD. Wedge is CORIAN. New brass reproduction bullseye washers. Scales were made by myself. They look even better in person. they have a teak oil and wax finish. Pins are tight and blade closes off center but does not catch. shank was a little uneven.
