Elegant vintage Reed & Barton silver-plated ice bucket featuring a highly polished mirror-finish exterior, insulated white liner and distinctive swing-handle design.
The bucket has a clever hinged lid mechanism connected to the handle, allowing the lid to lift as the handle is moved. A decorative finial and curved linkage add to its classic mid-century barware styling.
The underside of the lid retains the original blue Reed & Barton label reading:
“REED & BARTON – World’s Finest Silverplated Ware – 100 Year Warranty.”
Measures approximately 12” tall overall with handle raised × 8” wide.
The silver-plated exterior retains a beautiful reflective finish. Vintage condition with expected light surface scratches, scuffs and minor signs of use, particularly on the polished surfaces. Some light age-related discoloration/marks are visible on the underside of the lid. Interior presents nicely. I did not polish it- leaving that up to buyer- tried to capture the discoloration that is typical of older silver- Please review all photographs closely for exact condition. Second last photo has discoloration.
