This rare and adorable vintage Norcrest “April” kitten of the month figurine features a charming blue kitten with enormous eyes and a red rose on her head, holding a bouquet of Yellow Tulips to mark the fact that April is early Spring. The red rose is the same color as the large bow around her neck. She sits on a rectangular base marked with the month \"April\" in block letters.
She stands 3 1/2 inches tall, and the base is 2 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep. She is remarkably free from defects such as cracks and nicks, although there are a few tiny spots where the red of the ribbon and rose have worn or chipped off, and can be seen in the photos above. I believe there are a bare minimum of tiny craze marks in the glaze.
A charming addition to your collection of kitten figurines!
