This is an authentic German-engineered collector's piece by the highly renowned maker RS Cortendorf, stamped clearly on the base with the classic factory crown emblem and mold number 1098.
Cortendorf was famous during the 1950s and 60s for creating high-end "wood look" and faux-grain finishes on fine artware. This 13-inch statue features a gorgeous sleek silhouette and a warm simulated wood-grain patina that looks exactly like hand-polished hardwood.
