Beautiful vintage Robinson-Ransbottom Pottery Co. (RRP Co.) 12-inch pasta/serving bowl, made in Roseville, Ohio, USA.
This substantial American stoneware bowl features the classic cobalt blue spongeware pattern over a warm cream background on the exterior, with a simple cream glazed interior. The large, shallow form makes it wonderful for serving pasta, salads, fruit or as a farmhouse kitchen centerpiece.
The underside retains the original impressed pottery markings, including RRP Co., Roseville, Ohio, USA and the size/designation.
A wonderful piece of vintage American pottery with a look that works beautifully with farmhouse, cottage, country and traditional kitchen decor.
Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks noted. There is some age-related surface wear/spotting and a small dark area on the interior shown clearly in the photographs that is attributed to a minor glaze/firing irregularity. Vintage pottery can show variations in glaze, color and firing that are part of its character.
