Vintage RPPC Bee's Present Home Farmhouse Chickens Farm Yard AZO 1910s Photo For Sale

Vintage RPPC Bee's Present Home Farmhouse Chickens Farm Yard AZO 1910s Photo.Postcard DetailsA genuine early real photo postcard (RPPC) on AZO photographic paper, confirmed by the AZO stamp box on the back (two triangles up, two down, the c.1904-1918 configuration), with a divided back. The photograph shows a white clapboard farmhouse under tall shade trees, with a flock of some two dozen black and white chickens pecking across the farmyard in the foreground, a wooden gate and board sidewalk at the left, and a woman in a light dress standing beside the house. It is identified in period handwriting across the top of the back, transcribed exactly as written: "Bee's present home." The card is a companion to the "Bee's horse and buggy" real photo postcard offered separately in our store, identified in the same hand — Bee in her buggy, and Bee at home. No publisher or town is named anywhere on the card.Condition NotesThe photograph is soft with age and gently faded, with a soft dark band along the top edge of the image and a slightly uneven top edge to the print, as made. There is a small brown spot in the treetops at the upper left of the photograph and a small tan spot on the bottom border below the image. The back shows a few faint tan spots, along with the handwritten identification across the top. The card was never mailed and the address side is blank.Shipping and Handling◆ Packaging: Shipped securely in a protective plastic sleeve with card stock support inside a white envelope.
