Up for sale is a lovely pair of authentic, original black-and-white snapshots capturing a family gathering and outdoor excursion in a lush forest clearing or meadow in Bulgaria. Dating around the 1950s, these nostalgic snapshots provide a wonderful glimpse into vernacular mid-century family lifestyle, regional children's attire, and summer recreation behind the Iron Curtain.
Both photographs feature the iconic decorative deckle (scalloped) edges characteristic of vintage photo paper from the era. The reverse sides show authentic glue, paper remnants, and corner mounting wear from being preserved inside an old family scrapbook album over decades.
