Beautiful vintage double inkwell featuring elaborate Rococo Revival-style scrollwork, colorful floral decoration, and ornate gold gilding.
This decorative writing accessory features a lovely central arrangement of pink and purple roses, delicate blue flowers, and green foliage. The floral design includes raised white enamel detailing that can be felt to the touch, adding dimension and texture to the flowers.
The ivory-white glazed ceramic, believed to be porcelain, is accented with extensive gold gilding along the scrolling edges, raised ornamental details, and two circular inkwell openings. The gold decoration features a distinctive dark, antiqued speckled appearance that does not wipe away and appears to be beneath the clear glaze.

This beautiful piece is in excellent pre-owned condition. Upon careful visual inspection, no chips, cracks, or scratches were found.
The colorful floral decoration remains beautifully detailed, including the raised white enamel accents. The ornate gold gilding features dark speckling and variations in the finish that appear to be beneath the clear glaze.
Both inkwell reservoirs are permanently integrated into the ceramic body and do not detach. No separate ink containers or lids are included.
